Circa 2013-14 reproductions or Reprints of the Format Stamps started appearing. These are not from the original 1980's printings. There are differences between these and the originals. Why they are being "reproduced" I cannot fathom, as the originals did not sell well and were widely dismissed by the Stamp Community.

What logic in reprinting items that did not sell escapes me for the moment, but there appears to be no doubt that this is happening.

Most of this stuff is from the Leaders of the World series, but the people doing this look like they are producing other items as well.

My role as a Stamp Supplier is not to tell you what you should collect, but to make sure my stock is offered accurately. For this reason I offer for sale items that many may consider bogus, but with the accurate description, so that you can make an informed purchase decision.

There does appear to be a connection with several sellers on ebay & Delcampe based in Latvia, also Russia. I note a similarity between other "Cinderella" or "Local issues" offered and the printing/design style of Stamperija, but have no direct connection other than style similarities.
